How do you back up or duplicate a project in After Effects?

Hi,

I am learning After Effects and am near the end of a complicated project.  At this stage, in Premiere, I would duplicate the sequence before making big changes and I would love to be able to do that in After Effects for piece of mind. Is there an equivalent back up function in After Effects?

You simply duplicate the relevant comp(s) or save a different file. You may want ot read the online help section on basic project management and file handling.

I would save a copy of the project from After Effects, or if you prefer to back up the entire project including the footage, use the Collect Files.
