How do you set the TimeCode for an import plugin?

Hey guys.  How do you set the TimeCode for an importer plugin?  I feel like I'm missing something.  In Premiere Pro you can set the timecode when you get a call from imGetTimeInfo8.  What's the equivelent in AE?  I've searched the docs, and I see lots of information on displaying the time, getting the time in an effect, etc.  But can't seem to find how to set the time in an importer plugin.

Thanks!

Hi John,

This new API capability will be available in the coming After Effects CC, as AEGP_SetInSpecNativeStartTime().

Hi John,

I don’t believe it is there.  I’d expect there to be a corresponding call for AEIO importers similar to what is available for AEIO exporters, using AEGP_GetOutSpecStartFrame() in the AEGPIOOutSuite.
