If it is true why are they taken?

Please rephrase that.  I don't understand what you are asking.

As many times as you like but it will only run for one period of 7 days. Run the demo the first time on Feb 1 and it will expire on Feb 7 no matter how many times you install it or uninstall it.

You can download it and install it many times, but it will only open the first time and only for 7 days.

If you buy it, you can use it after 7 days from the first time you install it.  If you don't, you won't be able to use it.

Downloading, installing, and opening (running) are different things.

The tryout period for the free download lasts seven days only.  Then the software no longer works.  If you want to keep using the Adobe software, you must get a subscription.

There is NOTHING in this world that is free.

Op, you can keep changing emails every 7 days and register again to get Adobe software for life if you are up for it.

Isn't the trial tied to the computer also?

Wouldn't you need to use a different computer?

I don't recall that being the case. If it's a new user with a new registration then it should work because many users can use the same computer all on a different users.

Just to note, per Adobe:

"Can I reinstall a trial?

If you’ve already installed a Creative Cloud trial on your computer, you cannot reinitiate another trial. Once the original trial expires, subsequent installs display a trial expired message even if you never used the original trial or someone else installed it."
