Hi;
I want to export some AE projects but my RAM capability is low and it take long time. so I want to create virtual memory to help me in exporting.
The arrangement of partitions is as follows:
C: System operation
D: Storage (movies, pics...)
E: Projects (AE, Premiere,...)
F: MediaCache
which partition is better to be for virtual memory pagefile, and which configuration is better to set it up?
Gratefully
Martin
This is utterly irrelevant. AE itself doesn't use a page file, only a persistent cache. none of that bears any actual influence on rendering speed beyond the actual file I/O speed of the drives and clearly, setting up yet another resource-hungry process isn't going to improve anything. So for what it's worth - you are wasting your time with this. Simply get more RAM and/ or an overall faster computer.

If you can't get more memory, you can't use After Effects. Period. End of story. You're finished.

thanks of all guys for your valuable guidance. It was a new conception of AE exporting in relation with virtual memory.
