I've a video where a person is holding Doremon. When I apply KeyLight it applies to Doremon as well in the middle. My question is how can I lock a portion such that it isn't influenced by Keylight? Please check the attached video to understand my problem better.

thanks

Solution 1:
Duplicate your layer.

On the top layer remove the keylight effect.
I can see you already have a mask for the 'Doremon' object. Use this to mask out the upper layer.

Solution 2:

In the Keylight effect scroll down until you see the 'Inside mask' section.

Select the mask you have from the 'Inside Mask' menu.

Solution 2 isn't working. It keeps Doremon transparent (Likely, I might be doing something wrong). I opted for Option-1 though I understood it is tedious as Doremon is moving and I've to mask each frame else green screen appears.. but that's what craft is. For me it got trickier as my girl 🙂 is also wearing green and Keylight at times makes her transparent too. Thanks for the inputs. I'm learning!
