How to extend the solid for after effects

I noticed when I was learning about Audio Spectrum. But when I played the song, it would cut at 30 seconds and loop back and play again. Is there a way to keep playing and not have that cut half way? I want to get into music but it's hard when your song is cut and looped back on after effects?

It seems you have a wrong understanding of how previews in AE work and/ or a clear lack of knowledge what even the basic procedures are for setting comp durations and extending layers. I would strongly recommend to actualyl start by reading the online help on these essentials before blindly delving into tutorials. Depending on your computer and settings, both could be true - you have either not set the comp duration sufficiently to work on longer stuff or you simply run out of memory on your preview. On the small chance that there are other isssues, you have to provide more info like actual system info, actual settings for previews, comps and so on as well as details about the source footage used, effect settings and so on.
