How to keep Premiere's in's and out's of clips when working between Premiere and After Effects

I have a pretty big amount of footage that I want to sort through into bins and also add in's and out's to by using premiere. I then want to import the sorted footage into an after effects file (or files) which is where I plan to make an animated film out of the footage. Is it possible for me to somehow preserve the in's and out's that I specified in my project in premiere? I've looked a bit at dynamic link and also just importing the premiere file into my after effects project however neither have seemed to work (or maybe I'm just a newbie lol).

I'm also wondering if there's a better workflow to do this with? I've never worked with after effects before and so am not sure if I came up with the best system. Please feel free to recommend if you have a better way of doing all this.

Thank you!

If you place the clips in a sequence in Pr and then Dynamic link (select clips, right click, replace with Ae Composition) those clips will arrive in Ae and the in and out points are respected.
hope this helps.

Thank you for the reply, however I'm looking to combine many clips of footage into each after effects composition and so I'm not sure if this would be the best way to do this because it only works for one clip at a time. On the contrary what I want (which I'm not sure is possible) is to move my sorted premiere project into different folders in my after effects project, and then selectively choose from those folders when working on my after effects composition.

You can select multiple clips in the timeline, an then create the DL.
Or if you setup you sequences in Pr and save the project. Then in Ae you can File > Import > Import Premiere Pro Project...
Or you can have both applications open en copy/paste a sequence in the Bin in Pr to the project panel in Ae.
