How to recover overwriten file without auto-save?

I did hadnt enabled Auto-save and by mistake i overwriten an .Aep file into another, is there any way to recover it? I have the footage, and folder, but not the .Aep.

Nothing to do with AE. You have to use whatever file recovery tools are out there and give it a whirl.

You can check if there is an OS level shadow copy (Windows does that, but I'm not sure if the optin is enables by default) of an version before the overwrite.
