According to the tutorials on the internet there is an option to adjust the highlight color in After Effects. It can be done via the console:

After enabling the  "Enable_Theme_Colorizing" checkbox a button with a color picker should appear in the settings:

But for some reason on my computer there is only a limited list of 8 colors instead of that color picker:

To tell the truth I don't like eithe of them. I'd like to have a color picker to choose a color of my own.

Does anybody experienced the same issue on their computer?

Is there any way to get that colo picker instead of the list? I would appreciate any advice.

In version 24.0.3, the color picker has been brought back, and the list of colors is no longer present. Therefore, the issue has been resolved.
