Image is Pixelated/Glitched when I Import it

New Here ,
Jun 10, 2019 Jun 10, 2019

I was importing some images from We heart It to after effects and some of them were glitched or pixelated and some weren't. Its really confusing and annoying because i can't find a way to fix it and i tried looking up the problem but it seemed like no one had the same issue.

This is what it looks like:

And this is what it looks like when i put it into my composition:

If anyone has had this issue do you know how to fix it?

Thanks!

Open it in Photoshop, then export it to another image file format. Then import it into Ae.

Are those damages images viewable in another viewer?

Seems like the files are damaged what isn't unusual, if you downloaded it. Just re-download them.

It worked but I would also like to know why some of my photos are glitching.

Thank you OussK and Byron for your replies and explanations. I could fix 3 folders of dozen of images thanks to the precious Image processor script of Photoshop in changing compression quality ! It was able to rebluid the correct JPG structure of these files, where a famous recovery image software failed ! And import then in AE.
