Hi,

I'm aware of the following shortcuts:

A - ANCHOR POINT
P - POSITION
S - SCALE
R - ROTATION
T - OPACITY

Is there a shortcut for adding a keyframe for ANY selected property? I'm adding keyframes to an effects property and am curretnly having to add each one via the Animation menu... sloooooooooow.

Thank you!!

You can type the name of the property you want to work on in the Timeline Search panel. I do that all the time. Start typing the first few letters of the property you want to animate, and all instances that match the name will pop up in the timeline. Check this out. I can now animate any of these properties with ease. If all I wanted to see was the Dispersion amount on the Cell pattern effect, I would only type dis.

@Rick Gerard you still need to click on the small "add keyframe" button which is rather uncomfortable

Adobe is it really so complicated to add a shortcut for this essential function? Adding keyframes is a fundamental part of animation/motion design. So frustrating

Dont know if anyone reads this anymore but if u do I have the trick 4 U ❤️
U can actually bind the "add keyframe" to hotkeys by going into the "keyboard-shortcuts" section under "Edit"
Look in the menus below  the keyboardlayout and U find under:
Application
         |-Animation

                   |-Add keyframe
Whenever having 1 or more properties selected u can easy add a keyframe of their
"Independent current values"  @ "current time"

I ssigned to Alt-E since it was free of any other commands in my default preset 😃
Good luck & Stay creative ❤️

The Add Keyframe Command has been there since Day 1 when they released the Keyboard Visualizer Feature.

But for me, it stopped working for the past few releases. My Custom Keyboard Shortcut for Add Keyframe was Shift+K.
And I just checked and there seems to be a bug that causes the Command's Name to change, depending on which property you last selected - needs more testing but this was the behavior I got.

Have you had issues with using ALT+E to create an initial Keyframe as well as second and subsequent keyframes?
