Layer presented in composition is invisible in timeline, but it is showing in viewer window.

Hi,
i experienced this bug in AE 25.5 and new beta 26.
Windows AMD machine with nVidia GPU.
I have composition, and it look like it is empty, but it is not.
There are plenty of layers which are invisible in timeline, but in viewer those have proper behavior, so if I put this composition to another, I can use it, but I can not make any change (because there are no layers visible)
It looks like after shy applied, but shy switch is of and layers did not have it enabled.
I experienced this in AE 25.5 where disapeared one layer between bunch of others (the layer numbers was 89. 90, 91, 93, 94  - layer 92 just missing. But their content in viewer was visible..
And now in Beta 26.0 there are missing all layers which was imported from another project. It affects just one precomp. The behavior is the same like I described. No layers visible in timeline, but their content is visible in viewer and all comps where this precomp is visible..
viz attached screenshot.
And! When I duplicate the composition which is "ill" in project window, the copy is OK and all layers are visible as usually.
No shy button is switched on..

Hi @vobrazovka ,

Thanks for posting the screenshot, those are always super helpful.

You're filtering your Timeline by "Missing Effects," so all layers will be invisible except those that have what you're searching for. In this case, all your effects are online, so nothing is visible.
If you click the "x" at the far right of the search bar (just a bit to the left of your Shy switch) all your layers should become visible.

Does this do the trick?

Thanks,

Not a problem! Glad it wasn't something serious.

And for the future, that search field is super powerful. You can search for multiple terms separated by commas "position, color, width" for complex filtering!

Thanks,
