Hi Guys
I'm on a Win10 PC with a Nvidia Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1080 graphics card. I'm up-to-date with AE CC2017 (v. 14.2.1.34). I've been creating some titles that I planned to export as Text Templates for some Pr projects. But once I have finished and saved the comp and go to export, the option for Text Template doesn't exist! I attach a screen shot of what's available.
Has anyone any idea why it is missing? Is there some setting I need to change? Any thoughts welcome.
Regards,
Graham

it was! and then came something newer in a later build of the same release

there is a way. import the aep file to premiere, select a composition that has a text layer in it and premiere will create a clip from it, and you will be able to edit the text in premiere in the effects controls tab.

Hi again, Roei. I found your answer on a Creative Cow question and see where I am getting mixed-up. I should be OK now. Thanks!

Are you looking for Export Motion Graphics Template? If so, it's a button at the lower right of the Essential Graphics panel in the latest version.

Thanks Warren. It's only now that I've thought about creating such templates and I hadn't appreciated the move to .mogrt files via the Essential Graphics panel. Once I saw Roei's posts here and on another forum, the penny dropped (at last!)
