Howdy,
I got some cool footage that I'm supposed to make look like someone is underwater. I've done a test with the Psunami plugin, but I'm trying to find more tutorials to make it look even better. I'm gonna add some particulate in the shot to give it more weight, but I'd also like to add things like bubbles when she goes down. I'd also need some coming from her straight to camera (I'll include to screen grabs to help make sense).
Any advice would be appreciate.
Like most effects, it'll take a lot of tweaking to make it look right. You can start here for Foam stuff.
You should also look into the CC Bubbles effect. It's covered in this tutorial (with an underwater effect at around 2:40).

And what exactly is the question? What do you even need Psunami for? The rest is merely a matter of settings as well as having suitable footage, so I'm really not sure what you are asking. That said, the footage is way too dark to create a convincing underwater scene and the lighting is wrong, so at best this will be an artistic interpretation of "drunk girl stumbled into the pool at night and drowned", anyway.

I thought my questions were implied by the sentences I wrote.

There are tons of tutorials out there for adding bubbles in AE. For starters, you might look into the Foam effect (like many of the built-in effects, it will require some tweaking to make it look good).

Really, cuz I haven't found tons of tutorials for adding bubbles in the way I'm looking. The bubble tutorials I have found are up to 8 years old. But I can start adding Foam to my search parameter, so maybe I'll get some better hits.
Thanks.
