When selecting one text layer and drawing a rectangle mask around it, the other text disappears from the screen, how do I prevent the 2nd text layer from being hidden? I have seen a video where the other text layers do not disappear as you draw the individual masks on.
Hi. In your mask settings, where it says Add, change it to None.

wish there was a setting in preferences to make that permanent for each layer, find I have to re-do it for each new layer, its just hard to find my text once they all disappear, but i`m new to this, maybe its better for others that way. thanks for that answer.

You're welcome. I'm curious, what are you doing? Setting the mask to None is saying to it "have no effect", so why are you drawing masks?

oh, I`m following an Udemy tutorial and I noticed that the other text blocks remained visible when he was drawing rectangle masks over the text pieces, but for me as soon as I drew a mask over text, the other text blocks disappeared, which makes them hard to find.
I thought there may have been an outline view like in illustrator but I havent found it if it exists.
so yea I wanted to be able to see all the texts as I drew out the masks to position them relative to the text blocks.
