Hey there,
I used After Effects for a long time and I didn`t really touch it for a year now.
Now I installed the newest cc 2017 Version and I was shocked how much they messed it up. (crashes, caching, crashes, choppy previews, crashes....)
One of the most annoying problems is, that when I want to do motion tracking it opens a new window where the tracker(s) is/are shown.
It always destroys my whole window-sorting when I close it again -_-
Isn`t there a way to show the tracker in the actual composition window? I don`t need another one just for the tracking....
Greetings

Try to move move the new window on top of the composition panel (so they both share the same space), then select 'save changes to this workspace' from your workspace menu (click on the three lines next to your workspace, which sits in the top right corner of ae).
It should now remember where to open the new window.

Hey,
yeah i tried that but "it" forgot the settings on every restart of AE.
Saving the workspace did it! THX!!
