Moving User Presets Into Folder

Community Beginner ,
Mar 23, 2019 Mar 23, 2019

I've created a few animation presets, and was going to create a folder so i could keep them organized. I tried to move them, but i couldn't do it. I even looked in applications->after effects->presets, and they werent in there. Any help?

I want to move all of the user presets into "ECLIPWZED PRESETS".

The user presets folder on the mac is in your Documents folder:

A closer look tells you that my User Preset Library is actually an alias to a dropbox folder. I did this so that all of my user presets are available on any machine from anywhere. I've got more than 200 that I made and several that I have purchased.

You could even store and sort your presets in the Creative Cloud library that comes with AE. Just create an alias for that folder and put it in the appropriate Documents folder. I did not

I did not do that because I freelance at a lot of places and I can always get to Dropbox, but I can't get to my CC library unless I'm logged in.
