Mute The Audio In After Effects

Hello Everyone.

Inside After Effects, I have the Audio Level Down to: -50, But I can still hear the Sound. How can I Mute The Audio.

click on the  audio icon (speaker )  next to the layer to mute the audio.

Duplicate the layer and turn off the video (eyeball button) on one and turn off the audio (speaker button).  You now have an audio layer.
