Please uninstall Trend Micro's Anti-malware software. The current version is not compatible with After Effects and many other Adobe products and will cause them to crash on startup.

Btw I am suggesting that it will be good Adobe software will pop up the message asking user to turn off Trend Micro's Anti-malware or other anti-virus software instead of freezing without any error

Trend Micro have released updates so if you have auto-update on, you should be able to get a fixed version that doesn't require it being turned off.

Hi Nathan,

Sorry to hear about the crash.

If that doesn't help, try reinstalling the latest version of the GPU driver.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Nishu
