Opening .mogrt files back into After Effects

I'm interested in learning some of the more advanced features of the new Motion Graphics Templates. I'd like to be able to open some of the supplied free templates, that come with the new version, within AE to reverse engineer them.

I'm guessing down the line as you begin to be able to purchase them there might be a copyright issue. However if I created my own template and sometime later didn't have the AE project seems to make sense to be able to re-open the mogrt file in AE?

Thoughts welcome - or I could be missing something!

I tried this but doesn't work for me. I notice this example is on PC and I'm on mac - wonder if this is why it won't work. It just opens an empty AE project.
