Option “New” not showing up.

Hey yall, I hope yall can help me with this problem. So whenever I right click the clip I wanted to edit the option "New" doesnt show instead it is showing other options. Here is the photo I wanted it to be, and the one's that I have:

You must deselect your composition to use the contextual menu to get what you are looking for. Contextual menu is sensitive to selected elements and will show you the option related to the selected element.
