Path's stroke and fill don't aply

I copy-pasted a path from Illustrator in After Effects's empty composition. After I deleted a text (it was also a path), only the one closed path started having properties I would be giving it. Those others aren't displaying at all. How do I change it?

Without seeing the AI artwork it's impossible to tell, but most likely you used fills and strokes that AE can't replicate. Only basic fills and strokes translate. That and of course check the actual hierarchy of the items in the shape groups. This stuff matters.
