Persistent 'Options' dialog in File Import

Contributor ,

Apologies if this is an OS X thing rather than an Adobe thing, but since CC 2015 the 'options' in the Import dialog, have ceased to be persistent. Eg every time I go to import, the options (to specify a single image or an image sequence, for example) are not visible, until I click the Options button. In CC 2014, it remains in the state it was last time I used it, either open or closed. But on 2015 and above, it reverts to closed every time, meaning I often forget to open it to select a particular option.  Is this now standard behaviour ?

This isn't an intentional change. I've asked a developer to look into this. The problem started happening in Mac OS 10.11, and my suspicion is that it is an OS-level API change. Probably some subtle hook into the Options section that got overlooked when we updated Xcode.

I would recommend you file a bug report. Any annoying thing like that deserves to be looked at!

Thanks Tim, if I update to Sierra or something happens to change it, I'll report back.
