Problem with element!!!!

whenever i make my picture into a cube the quality is bad. can anyone help?

Hi. From memory - put the image into the Illumination channel.

im very new to after effects can you explain how to do that?

Similar to the way you added your image. In the Scene Setup screen, select your material. In the Material settings under Textures you will see the Illumination channel, set it to your image (as I imagine you did for your Diffuse channel). Scroll down and you will see the Illumination heading with its controls and increase the Intensity until you get the look you want.

It's really hard to tell what you are doing wrong without seeing the modified properties of the element layer and the settings inside Element. There are too many switched to throw to even make a guess. Without details, I can only tell you that you don't have something inside Element set up properly.
