I tried uploading footage into After Effects and Premiere Pro, but the videos came out way too bright because of HDR. I looked up how to change the color settings, but even after trying those, the footage still doesn’t look close to the original. I need your help finding the right settings so it looks correct. The After Effects version looks the worst. I’m attaching a picture to help you understand.

Hello,
You have to check the color profile from your file and check the gamma by clicking on the "8bpc" button in the project window.

Hi Yoni,
Hi, thanks for posting your HDR color question. I’ve flagged it for the product team so they can weigh in soon. Appreciate your patience while we wait for their feedback!
Thanks,

Sorry for the delayed response. As per your screenshot, the working color space in After Effects and Premiere Pro is the same. Try matching that. Also, After Effects may show a different preview in the composition. I'd recommend exporting it and then seeing if it matches the original media. If that doesn't help, please share a sample media so that we can test it on our end.
Looking forward to your response.
Thanks,
Nishu

I see! Do you mind sharing the media and project files of After Effects and Premiere Pro so that I can test this on my end? Feel free to DM me the download link if you prefer not to share them publicly.
Looking forward to your response.
Thanks,
Nishu
