RAM PREVIEW

Just wondering if anyone can ched light on why we can't save ram preview?? I thought Adobe was bringing this feature back, and don't understand whay they took it out in the first place!!

I think the assumption is that you would just render out the data using the disk cache, so it is doubtful that this will ever be reinstated as it was in the olden days.

How do you render out the disk cache? After i run a ram preview, would rather not have to re-render again for an output.

Any update on this? Bit fed up of having to wait for renders to export when they are already cached to RAM. You would think that if it's in RAM then it would also be stored as disk cache but in a lot of instances it doesn't seem to work that way.
