RAM previews not working 2022

Hi there, we are having a problem that makes AE 2022 unusable. Worked fine in 2021....

Nothing RAM previews real-time. And I mean nothing....

Windows 10

Ryzen 9 5950X

128GB RAM

2xRTX 3090

Latest drivers, latest AE

I have worked it out myself... Mercury transmit does not work in 2022 with these GPUS.

Sorry to hear about this! 

Are you on the latest version of After Effects, which is v22.2.1?

I understand that you can get it to work if Mercury Transmit is disabled under Preferences > Video Preview. Is that correct?

Are you using the Studio version of the driver or the GameReady version? Are you on driver version 512.15?

Hi Rameez, yes latest AE 22.2.1. Latest Nvidia studio driver. 

If you switch off mercury transmit it works again.

Actually, it is not fixed. One of the rtx 3090s is attached via Thunderbolt as an EGPU. This stops all realtime previews.

Any ideas on this one? 2021 never had issues with multiple GPUS... 2022 seems to be a bit flaky!
