Real time output of audio controlled graphic?

I am looking for the following:

I want to input a graphic

Set an input source (99% of the time it will be a mic)

The graphic will "pulse" and perhaps light up in response to the sound source
Aware that AE can do all that

I need this to be done in REAL TIME
I need it to output in a format that streaming software such as XSPLIT can pick up and use as a source in a scene

Can AE do this, if not does anyone know something that can?

Hi. As far as I am aware AE can not do this. Perhaps someone else is aware of an alternative.

Impossible. After Effects is not a real-time effects system, nor does Adobe make any such software.

You need to look into VJ-ing software with all the downsides this has like quirky interfaces and the need to get very technical in their scripting engines.

Thank you, currently playing around with such software and getting a feel for the modules. Probably going to wind up just outsourcing this, but thank you all for the responses
