Rendering jpeg sequence from specific frame

I'm rendering an animation as a jpeg sequence... I could do with exporting it from a specific frame, as the file may be corrupted in some way as it keeps freezing at a specific point when exporting as an mp4

I dont see any setting for this however, do I just have to render the whole thing even when its an image sequence?

You can set the output duration in the render settings. You may want to read the online help on some basics.

Oh I see it now ... hmmm thats difficult to work out where to resume the render from, as the files are exported as numbers rather than having times in the filenames

thanks anyway

Try Ctrl/Cmnd click on the Time display in the Timeline. That should change the display to frames. You can then set the work area to the in and out point where you want to render. I do it all the time when I am rendering Image Srequences.
