Rough stroke?

How do I animate between regular straight lines and super rough lines (attached image). In Illustrator its just an effect so I'm thinking it should kind of be the same in After Effects. I just don't know what effect that would be? I'm new to AE so I need the grandfather to grandson level of explanation

Import your llustrator artwork into AE

Add it to your comp.

Menu : layer > Create > Create shapes from Vector layer.

You'll now have a shape layer.

Now twirl down the shape layer, select the 'contents' property and find the 'add' menu to the right.

Add the 'wiggle paths' modifier - adjust and animate to taste.
