save effects settings

Hi,

Is there a way to save the effects and their settings that you have for a clip tp be used in other clip so you dont have to copy paste to accesss the other ones.
Maybe there is also a way to link several clips to one effects setup so you could many in one go.

Many years ago I used some kind of contacts sheet plug in where you collected every scene as an image in a contact sheet in a comp and then you could add effects to that contact image and the comp would update. I used it on AE but I havent found it or a similar script that works that way now. Anyone know how to do that?

Saving animation presets is pretty easy, here's an article demonstrating that: How to Save Your After Effects Presets

You can also link multiple effects to a single effect's parameters via expressions. After Effects provides two handy options in the menu to do this automatically for you. It's called Property Linking: Tip 015 - Copy with Property Links in After Effects - YouTube
