Script editor on Mac..?

Where do i find the script editor on mac? I don't see it?
On the Adobe site it says:

ESTK is deprecated. These days yopu are supposed to just use XCode with the relevant ECMAScript/ JavaScript configuration.

I guess Adobe should update their guides.

I tried opening a standard JSX file included with AE, copied in to the built in script editor from Apple (Not xcode).
Diden't work..

But it might be the xcode thing?
