I have a script for free download on my website. The other day I got an email from someone that said when they updated their AE to CS6, the script no longer showed up in the Window menu. As far as I know, any .jsx or .jsxbin that is in the Script UI Panels folder will show up in the Window menu regardless of the scripts contents. Is this correct?
Is there any reason other then the script being in the wrong folder that would keep it deom showing up in the dropdown?
Everything works fine on my end and I know other people have used it with no problems.
Thanks.

Sometimes on installation the ScriptUI Panels folder does not exist - depending on versions, don't remember which right now.
I suspect the user does not have the folder created. Also perhaps if the user accidentally changed the name - to for example
ScriptUIPanels - then it will not work also.

Also, they would need to copy the script in to the CS6 version from the CS5 version, I don't think this happens automatically.

Thanks for the info. I told them to double check their installation and verify the spelling and capitalization of the folder name. I did see this post: http://forums.adobe.com/message/5043689#5043689 though, so maybe it is some sort of bug.
