How do I set the beginning of the timeline to 0.00.00.00 instead of taking on the timecode of the clip?

You'll find it in the Composition Settings.

I'm pretty sure you can set a default start time code in Preferences, too.

I looked in the Preference could not find one. (opposite to Pr.)
