Hi, I'm experiencing a problem on After Effects for MacOs for some years now, and I finally am looking for a proper solution.

When I try to type directly on After Effects CC 2019 (I had the same back with every version since I switched to mac some year ago) I can't type some of brazilian special characters on After Effects like: "você", "caçando" ou "ué" , since they use " ' " and " shift+^ " keyboard shortcuts that seems to open a strange console that interrupt the writing of the word.

I removed all shortcuts from this keys on the Keyboard Command Editor, but It stills launch the console. I attached some screens to show what I mean.

Someone have a solution for this issue?

Did you try to set a different shortcut for the system it self, so instated of changing the AE shortcut try to change the system shortcut to use this type of character

But I only have issue with After Effects, there is no way to disable this "console" that opens when using these keys?
