Stroke Effect on text render issue

So I used the stroke effect to animate my text as if it were being written on the screen but when I render it the pen lines I used to highlight the path of the text still shows up. Any help on how to fix this problem?

set the stroke effect paint style to: "reveal original image"

Which device? Which OS? What's the version number of your OS?

Have you updated all the drivers on your device?
