Hello,
I have some sugestions for a small life improvement in After Effects.
When moving media files to other place After Effects looses the linkage, but:
1. Instead of having 1 error window per file it should show a list (like premiere, if I moved 100 files I'd have to do 100 clicks)
2. It could "discover" the files if they were placed in the project folder (like premiere does too!)
3. Render directly to H.264. (probably not a new request)
Since both programs belong to Adobe, although they might be developed by different teams it would make sense if they shared some good features.

Best place to put suggestions for AE is on their User Voice forum. that way others can vote on them.
as for your suggestions #1 already exists. you'll be alerted to X# of missing files when AE can't find them. #2 is sort of there in that if you reconnect 1 file and all the other missing files were moved to a similar path AE is pretty good about finding them.
as for #3 this was actively removed from AE a few versions ago. if you want to export directly from AE to an h264 file you can do so via Adobe Media Encoder.

Sorry for the misplaced topic.
So on #1 I will have 1 window per file to click OK, so I have 100 files I have to close 100 windows, there is now way I can skip this. In premiere it only show one window with a list of the missing files and you can relink or ignore and link them later.
It's true at #2 but it only works if those files are all in the same folder.
#3 case closed I guess it's not changing
