System Compatibility Report Unsupported Video Driver NVIDIA Quadro 4000

Sep 07, 2022 Sep 07, 2022

Hello I am getting the next error when I open my After Effects Version 18.1, it was working with no issue and suddenly I start getting this message if I click "Continue with known issues" it will left the app open just for a minute and then it will close.

I have updated the NVIDIA Driver to version 353.82 with no luck.

Please any help will be appreciated.

Have you tried clicking the blue "Fix" button? Where are you getting version 353.82 and can you verify that it's the latest driver?

Hello,

I have click the "Fix" button but it does not do anything meaning I do not see any apps updating or any "progress bar" display, it just sit there until I click on "Continue with know issue", the driver version I got it from the NVIDIA site and that is the one recommended for an Avid version that I have running also on that PC.

The "Fix" button is the only solution or is there another way to correct the problem?

Thanks

The "Fix" button isn't going install a new driver for you, it should open your browser to a page with more information.

Unfortunatelly did not work, because the "Fix" solution is to install the latest NVIDIA driver which does not work with the Media Composer version I have installed on my PC, is there another way to fix this issue?

Thanks

You should be able to ignore this if you set Video Renders and Effects to Software Only in the Project Settings.

Then, wait until Avid gives the okay for the up-to-date video drivers for Media Encoder.

I try that and after I save a new project with the setting the app stop responding and it close by itself. Something I did wrong, something else I can try?

Thanks

Which version of Media Encoder are you running?

I'd suggest setting up a dual boot system, but that's a Mac thing.
