Just need those three not the whole package.... $1000.00 is steep.

You can do about anything that those plug-ins can do with AE's standard effects, some expressions and a bunch of layers but replicate a plug-in like an exploding energy ball created with Particular would take you several hundred layers and several days if not weeks. If you are a hobbyist then you have to cough up the money for Calloway if you want to play with the same clubs the PGA Pros use. If you are making a living with your tools then you need to adjust your day rate to cover the cost of the doing business or you will be broke in a year. It's all simple math and good sense.
