Every time I use AE, the Transfer Controsls pane is always too small, so that the Mode and Track Matte drop down menus are not fully legible. When I drag the divider right to expand it, it suddenly snaps to its minimum size. From there I can continue to drag the divider right or left to make the Transfer Controls pane larger or smaller, but I can no longer drag it left past its minimum size to where it its too small to be legible as it was intitially.
I've included a screen recording to illustrate the issue I'm experiencing:
Ya know, I guess I don't have this issue anymore! I guess an update might have fixed it. Or it could be that I was using an old template like sskaz mentioned. Either way I'm good now

Are you still having the issue? Let us know.
I am moving this thread from Bugs to Discussions for now.
Thanks,

After Effects saves the width and order of your timeline’s columns. In your case, I bet your comp was made before they updated the track matte column UI to add the pickwhip for reusable track mattes.
I have project templates from my team created before the track matte update and we run into this [minor] bug all the time. Ideally that column should be split up into multiple columns since it’s doing too many things now. The width of each side (blending modes, track mattes) are linked when it would be nice to keep blending modes thinner and let track mattes expand larger for longer layer names.
