Hi,
I am experiencing an issue while running a script, the script is True Comp Duplicator, and it was working a few days ago, and at the same day it started to give the following error message: "Unable to execute script at line 211. After Effects error: could not convert Unicode characters."
I did not make any update on that day. Since, i have tried to unnistal and reinstal the script, no avail. I've updated AE, no avail. Anyone experienced this issue? Can anyone help?

It likely has to do with some kind of character in the naming of your project items or layers. Or, it can even be an issue with regards to some character within an expression within the layer. If your project has many layers, and many expressions it could be hard to troubleshoot. My suggestion would be to see if True Comp Duplicator has any issue with a very simple composition with a single layer and no expressions.

I have made a new project and used a comp with a simple solid, ran the cript and the same error pops up. It's so weird, because everything else seems to work properly.

I have checked both your links, they seem to be for the up to CS5 version of after effects, i cannot find the folders and the file in the paths the guide describes. Also, this only happens when i run the script, AE launches normaly.
