I've searched for a long time that I still have no idea how to set the "Preserve RGB" under Color Management for footages with script.
It would be awful if every comper have to set it hundred times daily.

Sadly scripts do not have access to that option.

Why not?! I've been looking for a way to do this fast, and it doesn't seem like Adobe wants us to do so...
I work in ACES, and every time I import footage into AE I have to "Preserve RGB" - that takes soooo much time, and it's not like I can select multiple sources at once...
If someone has a work around this would be great! Otherwise Adobe please make that a thing!

Maybe you can do it using by triggering the menu commands using execute command. Just use some script to make your footage the active item and then execute the right cmd.
So you make a dummy template footage and copy paste that over to new footage.
