Venetian Blinds - animation to come subsequently?

Explorer ,
Dec 05, 2018 Dec 05, 2018

Hi everybody,

I am trying to make a shape layer appear in a similar way as this: Material Design Blinds Transition ( After Effects Project Files ) ★ AE Templates ★ 2018 - YouTube

The example presented is a bit more sophisticated than I need. I just want the venetian blinds to appear subsequently. Unfortunately, I can't figure out such a little detail. Does anyone have any ideas?

Thank you very much!

Dear Rick,

Thanks a lot! After testing the effects mentioned by you i am using the Card Wipe. It is closer to what I need. The card dance is rotating the raws all at the same time as well.

I still didn't obtain that perfect control over how the blinds rotate, but I will come with an update after I test longer. In any case, you gave me a great start!
