Warp - bulge effect behave strange!

Hi, when i try to use the warp effect qnd i choose the bulge and vertical option, it behave different from the tutorials i saw, it has to just warp the left and righ side of the shape but it my AE it moves the whole shape! Is this a common issue? How can i fix this?

 

I'll post pictures from it if it is not common.

Thank you for your response I figured it out that warp-bulge effect has a different behavior for shape layers or illustration layer so I should use illustration layers for it.

I tried everything AI said, i checked shape properties and even Anchor point and did it in new comps in two version of AE but the problem doesn't fixed...
