What are these layer labels called and how to remove them?

I used a free text script and it generates these labels on the layers (I have highlighted in example below) I'm not sure how to remove the lables from the layer, so could someone please help me on how to do that please?

They are marker comments/ labels. A right-click is your friend!

Ah thank you, I feel like a dummy now. I wasn't right clicking on the exact area. lol
