When I Duplicate a Pre Comp with 3 lines of Text, the original Text changes too (!)

When I Duplicate a Pre Comp with 3 lines of Text, the original Text (from original Pre Comp) changes too... I dont know how else to do it, since I want to match specific timing/text effects on both groups of text.

Both are called  Precomp 1,  despite the fact that I renamed....

Well, in the main comp, I have one precomp (3 lines of text), which I assumed I could duplicate (and change the text)... apparently I need to copy the three text layers from the precomp, place in the main composition, then make a new precomp....
