Can anyone help?
When I open After Effects and then try to open Preferences, the program just freezes & the wheel of doom appears.

I'm using After Effects CC 2019 on a Mackbook Air.

Thanks in advance

Ian

These are the hardware requirements for running AE CC2019 on MAC OS

Processor : Multicore Intel processor with 64-bit support

Operating system: macOS versions 10.12 (Sierra), 10.13 (High Sierra), 10.14 (Mojave)

RAM: 8GB RAM minimum (16GB recommended)

Hard disk space: 6GB of available hard-disk space for installation; additional free space required during installation (cannot install on a volume that uses a case-sensitive file system or on removable flash storage devices)Additional disk space for disk cache (10GB recommended)

Monitor resolution: 1440x900 or greater display resolution

Please check if your MacBook Air meets these minimum requirements.

If it does I would recommend uninstalling AE using Adobe Cleaner Tool AdobeCreativeCloudCleanerTool.dmg

Then reinstall AE and do NOT migrate any settings if prompted.

Let me know if this works
