After 2015 updates i have sound lagging! CC 2014 works well. When I launch the preview in 2015-2018 - every time the sound disappears for 2 seconds! It's very annoying, it's very bad work. Only after the first cycle sound is played normally.
What to do with it???

Perhaps try cleaning your cache:
On top of the interface After Effects (Mac) or Edit (Windows)/Media and Disk Cache/Then click on database and cache.
Then try re-starting AE. Hope this helps.

try importing the sound as a wav or aiff file... AE hates compressed sound

This happens with all kinds of sound.
And I know people with the same problem for 2 years already!

I thought this bug was fixed by now.
Bug fixes in the April 2017 update to After Effects CC (version 14.2)
Audio is no longer silent for the first 2 seconds of real-time playback of previews after the composition has been fully cached, if both the Hardware Accelerate Composition, Layer, and Footage Panels preference and the Mute Audio When Preview Is Not Real-time preference are enabled.
is this your issue? if you disable hardware acceleration or mute audio when not real time - is it better?

I've been having problems with this too since cc 2015.
Even though they made mention of fixing it in the april 2017,
it only made the problem slightly less worse but never fixed it.
My workaround (though far from ideal),
is to turn off "mute audio when preview is not realtime"
You'll find this toggle in the Preview tab of the AE preferences.
Annoying is that it will (mangled) play audio when it's creating/rendering previews,
usually a process that is not done in real time.
For me it fixes the delayed audio start on a rendered preview or audio only preview (dot on keypad)
worth it, but far from ideal.

"mute audio when preview is not realtime"
But preview is realtime from RAM already ready! and After Effects can not handle the sound correctly!
But if "mute audio" off, I have an unpleasant stretch of sound in the same conditions.

Something broke during the transition from 2014 to 2015. Why not do everything right? It worked great! And now no.

Sound is playing fine for me in CC 2018 (and CC 2017) once a preview is cached. What is your OS? Can we see a screenshot of your sound preference screens?
What is the source of your audio? Is it an MP3, a video file, a WAV? Or does it happen with every audio file all the time?
The pictures in your initial post, can you explain what they are in more detail?
Are you saying that you get skips in the waveform displayed in the timeline or are you just saying that audio drops out while you are listening to the preview, but nothing is affected visually?

What is your OS?
Win7-SP1-x64
Is it an MP3, a video file, a WAV?
any sound
more detail?
It's hard for me to describe it in English.
Each time i start preview, the sound disappears or stutters. Even from the cache!
But the second cycle of the playing is already without a problem.

This happens every time after clicking the Play button. Just in first play-cycle.
This is not montage. This is a sound recording from After Effects preview.
I have "SKIPED" every first playing ("start").

That's weird. I haven't had problems like that since CC 2017.
Have you tried contacting Adobe support?
