Fast Character Rigging using bones and tools - NATIVELY!

Having to use a 3rd party plugin like Duik, Rubberhose, Limber etc is fine BUT it is nowhere near as fast as using something like ToonBoom, Cavalry or Adobe Animate when animating characters.

 

It basically prevents decent complex character animations in After Effects as it just takes too long as it thinks... and thinks... and thinks.

 

Please Adobe. Fix it.

Yes, it's my dream that AE would work quickly with character animation. I like AE and its built-in tools and third-party plugins so much that I just don't want to learn other programs. But unfortunately in AE I do not know why, but vector layers are processed much longer than anywhere else. Also the presence of expressions slow down the program a lot. Even if you just have an expression that triggers once and the value of the expression does not change in time, still as I understand AE checks every frame in the composition because of what performance suffers.
