Hey Adobe Ae Team, could you add a number counter fx please.

I just recently discovered the burst pop function and love it. Making those was a pain in the butt prior to this. Now it's easy. 

Which got me thinking, adding a scrolling number counter is the same kind of pain. Is there any way to add a function that makes it as easy as you made the burst pop? Just basically a text box that can be formatted the same way as a cell in Excel. Right now you have to add a bunch of code to add commas, get rid of decimals, add a dollar sign, etc. I create math and accounting animations so this would be really really useful. Please????!!!!

Thank you for making this request! We released several number counter presets that are now included in After Effects 24.5 and later. Search for these in the Effects & Presets panel:

• Counter Countdown Monospaced
• Currency Counter Monospaced
• Percentage Counter Monospaced
• Timer Countdown Monospaced
